Shape people operations at Brilliant Harvest across Western Canada, supporting managers with performance, coaching, compliance, and confidential employee matters. Calgary visits occur every two months.
This HR Generalist builds and runs a broad HR function while reporting to the Finance & Operations Manager. The work spans employee relations, talent management, organizational training, performance and compensation reviews, policy implementation, and employee exits. You will also protect personal information, maintain accurate records, and guide managers through difficult conversations.
Key Responsibilities: Coach managers and employees on performance and retention
Investigate complaints and develop action plans when needed
Lead performance, compensation, probationary, and annual reviews




Ensure practices meet employment standards and human rights legislation
Conduct exit interviews and share trends with management
Requirements: 5+ years of progressive human resources experience
Robust communication and manager coaching skills
Comfort handling difficult conversations and confidential information
Working knowledge of Alberta employment and privacy legislation
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field
Use sound judgment, coaching ability, and employee relations expertise to strengthen Brilliant Harvest’s people practices across Western Canada.
