Dr. Hughes Family Practice & Walk-in seeks one Family physician for its private medical clinic. The position includes collecting medical information, examining patients, and coordinating primary patient care. Physicians provide counselling, prescribe treatments, and consult other practitioners regarding physical and mental health.
Key Responsibilities: Collect medical information from patients and professionals
Examine patients to identify diseases and injuries
Provide acute and emergency care
Prescribe medications and administer treatments
Coordinate primary patient care and counselling
Requirements: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry
College of Family Physicians Certification required
Experience is an asset
Availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime
Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail
Support patients across primary, acute, and emergency care while practicing family medicine at Dr. Hughes Family Practice & Walk-in.
