The Laundry Aide performs essential laundry duties in a senior living facility. You will handle personal clothing and linens, follow machine instructions, and protect resident privacy. Key Responsibilities:

- Receive, sort, and classify laundry by type, condition, and weight
- Wash, dry, fold, and deliver linens to appropriate units
- Separate personal clothing for repairs or ironing




- Observe machines and report malfunctions to the supervisor
- Maintain clean, orderly laundry facilities and equipment

Requirements:

- Basic understanding of washer and dryer operations
- Some knowledge of chemicals used in laundry processes
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Basic laundry knowledge with independent working skills
- Ability to use safe work practices and personal protective equipment

Support residents through dependable laundry service, secure equipment practices, and confidential handling of personal clothing and linens.
