With approximately 6,900 MW of installed capacity, hydropower remains the backbone of our North American operations, providing reliable, long‑life baseload energy that anchors our broader renewable fleet.Reporting to the VP of Capital Markets of Brookfield’s Renewable’s North American business, the Director, Capital Markets is part of a collaborative team of professionals working closely together in the execution of Brookfield’s fund-raising initiatives for its North American Renewable Power Platform. The team develops the strategy for as well as executes debt financings in support of Brookfield’s development/construction and purchase of renewable power assets, as well as debt refinancings and restructurings. Transaction sizes range from $30 million to $1B+ and are sourced from both the international bank and institutional markets.Lead the negotiation of financing projects with lenders and legal counselsincluding liaising with lenders, external consultants and staff from several internal departments including tax, treasury, operations, power marketing,
