As a Radiation Therapist I with Cancer Care Alberta, you will provide prescribed radiation treatment at Central Alberta Cancer Centre. The position supports all experience levels, including graduates of accredited Canadian or non-Canadian radiation therapy programs. You will work under Radiation Oncologist direction while developing treatment planning skills with Eclipse software.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver prescribed radiation treatment to patients
Assist safe, accurate simulation and planning procedures
Assess patient reactions to treatment




Document treatment plans and maintain patient records
Educate patients about procedures and side-effect management
Requirements: Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
Active or eligible Alberta College registration
Active or eligible Canadian Association registration preferred
Ability to perform physical duties, including lifting
Basic Life Support certification preferred
Apply radiation treatment, patient education, and planning skills as a Radiation Therapist supporting Cancer Care Alberta patients in Red Deer.
