The Registered Nurse provides quality, patient focused care in Osler’s Cardiology Unit. This position follows nursing practice expectations, College of Nurses standards, and legislative requirements. You will work within an inter skilled health care team while supporting patient safety and well being.
Key Responsibilities: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
Provide compassionate, patient centred nursing care
Recognize health changes and respond to emergencies
Deliver patient and family health teaching
Follow infection prevention and control measures
Requirements: Minimum two years of acute medicine experience
Current College of Nurses of Ontario registration
Coronary Care 1 and BCLS required
Recent twelve lead ECG or rhythm interpretation experience
Pass required arrhythmia and cardiology examinations
Bring cardiology experience, clinical assessment, and patient teaching skills to permanent part time nursing at William Osler Health System.
