Provide patient-oriented nursing care as a part-time Registered Practical Nurse with Extendicare, applying clinical judgment and person-centred practice.

Reporting to the Director of Care or Director of Health and Wellness, the Registered Practical Nurse delivers planned, goal-directed care. You will coordinate resident care, administer medications and treatments, and maintain accurate documentation. The position supports long-term care residents through collaboration with nursing, interdisciplinary, and contracted service teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Complete resident assessments, care plans, and clinical documentation
- Implement and evaluate care plans, making required changes
- Provide direct care and administer medications and treatments




- Manage changes in resident condition and medical emergencies
- Teach, delegate, and direct unregulated care providers

Requirements:

- Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse
- Robust communication, critical thinking, and care coordination skills
- Sound clinical knowledge and time management skills
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
