This permanent position is with a consulting engineering company in a rural, remote setting. You will assist with engineering drawings, specifications, cost estimates, contracts, and tenders. The employer will train candidates without experience and offers on-the-job training tailored to youth. Work includes outdoor and offshore or at-sea field locations, with supervision of one to two people.
Key Responsibilities: Assist with preparing designs, drawings, and specifications
Use computer-aided design tools for drafting
Estimate project costs and required materials




Prepare and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Prepare contracts and tenders
Requirements: One- to two-year college certificate or diploma
No experience required; training will be provided
Knowledge of Mastercam CAD/CAM, AutoCAD, or Autodesk REVIT
Valid driver's licence, own transportation, and own vehicle
Willingness to travel and relocate
Apply mechanical drafting, CAD, and engineering documentation skills while supporting projects across outdoor and remote locations.
