AgeCare’s Personal Support Workers monitor care according to established plans and help identify resident needs. The work includes observing residents, documenting care information, and supporting geriatric residents. You will also participate in education sessions, meetings, workshops, and staff onboarding as directed.
Key Responsibilities: Provide care to residents according to care plans
Observe residents and report findings to supervisors
Document resident care information as directed
Attend education sessions, meetings, and workshops
Follow infection prevention and control policies
Requirements: Personal Support Worker Certificate or Diploma
Meet Ministry of Training vocational standards
Meet National Association of Career Colleges standards
Know easy treatments and bedside care techniques
Understand sanitation and geriatric resident needs
Use resident care, documentation, and infection prevention skills as a Personal Support Worker supporting AgeCare residents.
