Coordinate produce ripening operations for Gambles, combining inventory planning, food safety, and quality inspections across warehouse locations.
Reporting to the General Manager of Operations, the Ripening Support position manages fruit from inbound inspection through post-ripening handling. You will coordinate with Sales and Buying to project demand, manage inventory, and communicate supply changes. This schedule requires early mornings, flexible shifts, and regular travel between locations.
Key Responsibilities: Manage ripening cycles according to demand and product requirements
Collaborate with Sales and Buying on inventory projections
Monitor ethylene and other ripening supplies
Ensure warehouse food safety compliance and corrective action




Develop processes improving operational visibility across teams
Requirements: Two years of quality control or ripening experience
Produce handling experience is required
Experience using Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and tablets
Familiarity with CFIA, USDA, or PACA standards preferred
Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and flexible shifts
Support Gambles operations through demand-aligned ripening, inventory coordination, food safety, and explicit communication between teams.
