Support gay men’s sexual health through workshops, outreach, and HIV/STBBI navigation across Simcoe County and Muskoka. This is a full time, office-based position.
The Gay Men’s Sexual Health Coordinator works within Community Programs and reports to the Community Programs Manager. You will support 2S-LGBTQ+ communities, people who use drugs, sex workers, and people experiencing homelessness. The role combines campaign implementation, community engagement, education, and referral support.
Key Responsibilities: Promote provincial Gay Men’s Sexual Health campaigns
Deliver STBBI workshops through varied formats
Develop social and support groups
Support HIV/STBBI testing access and referrals
Provide outreach and distribute safer sex resources
Requirements: Relevant education or equivalent lived and work experience
At least one year in HIV/STBBI or related fields
Experience with disenfranchised and diverse communities
Strong communication and group facilitation skills
Valid G licence or reliable personal vehicle
Bring sexual health education, outreach, and community engagement skills to Gilbert Centre programs serving Simcoe Muskoka communities.
