Use French and English daily as a Bilingual Debt Collections Representative in Barrie’s in-office, high-volume call centre. Negotiate repayment solutions with customers.

This full-time position requires previous debt collections or related account recovery experience. You will manage overdue accounts, explain payment options, document interactions, and pursue recovery targets. Success depends on negotiation, resilience, organization, and professional customer service. The schedule includes rotating shifts between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., Monday to Saturday.

Key Responsibilities:

- Contact French-speaking and English-speaking customers about overdue accounts
- Negotiate repayment arrangements within approved guidelines
- Develop realistic plans based on customer circumstances




- Explain balances, payment options, and next steps
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and commitments

Requirements:

- At least one year of debt collections experience
- Robust spoken and written French and English
- Confidence handling difficult financial conversations professionally
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and customer service skills
- Legal entitlement to work in Canada
