About the Role

Our client, a premier electronics retailer, is seeking an experienced Senior Retail Sales Associate for their store in Kimberley, Northern Cape. This role is for an individual with a passion for technology and a proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales. You will be responsible for assisting customers, demonstrating product features, and closing sales, while also mentoring junior sales staff. This position requires excellent product knowledge, strong sales acumen, and the ability to thrive in a target-driven environment. You will be a key player in representing the brand and ensuring customer satisfaction within the Kimberley market. Your expertise will be invaluable in guiding customers and contributing to the store's sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, understanding their needs.
- Provide expert product knowledge and demonstrate features and perks of various electronics.
- Achieve and exceed individual sales targets through effective sales techniques.
- Build strong customer relationships and foster loyalty to the brand.
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking shelves and maintaining product displays.
- Process customer transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior sales associates, sharing best practices.




- Stay updated on the latest product knowledge and industry trends.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns efficiently and courteously.

Requirements

- A minimum of 3 years of experience in retail sales, preferably in electronics or a related field.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Strong knowledge of consumer electronics and technology trends.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and mentor junior staff.
- Proficiency in using POS systems and basic computer skills.
- A passion for technology and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, in Kimberley.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in sales or technology is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
