Support clients in Airdrie as a Health Care Aide, providing personal care, daily living assistance, and compassionate home-based support.
Working under regulated health professionals, you will support clients in homes, lodge settings, communities, and health care facilities. This casual/relief position involves personal hygiene, nutrition, mobility, recreation, medication assistance, and safety needs. You will collaborate with patients, families, caregivers, nurses, and multidisciplinary team members.
Key Responsibilities: Provide personal care according to each client’s care plan
Assist with hygiene, dressing, feeding, grooming, transfers, and mobility
Offer respite, companionship, recreation, and supervision
Support medication assistance, catheter care, ostomy care,



and exercises
Observe and report patients’ mood, health, and wellbeing
Requirements: Active or eligible Health Care Aide registration with CLHA
Provincial Curriculum education or substantially equivalent competency
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds during care
Bring personal care, communication, and mobility support skills to clients receiving services through Airdrie Health Centre.
