The University of Ottawa seeks one Teaching Assistant for Fundamentals of Mechanical Engineering, course MCG1101, section C. Supporting supervisor Patrick François Richer, you will conduct weekly dissection labs, consult with students, mark work, and proctor examinations. The assignment includes 65 total hours from January 1 through April 30, 2027.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct weekly dissection laboratories for enrolled students
Set up equipment before laboratory sessions
Provide student consultations during the course
Mark student work and proctor examinations
Assist the course supervisor with teaching
Requirements: Successfully completed undergraduate mechanical engineering courses
Exceptional knowledge of Free Body Diagrams
Exceptional knowledge of engineering mechanics
Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
Ability to use basic hand tools
Apply your engineering mechanics, laboratory, communication, and proctoring skills as an in-person University of Ottawa Teaching Assistant.
