Alberta Health Services seeks a Food Service I for Patient Food Services. You will complete routine food preparation tasks under established standards and procedures. The work supports nutritious, high-quality meal service for patients, residents, staff, visitors, and the community.
Key Responsibilities: Package and portion food items according to established procedures
Prepare food according to set guidelines and menus
Serve meals to patients and customers
Clean and sanitize equipment, dishes, tables, and serving areas
Requirements: Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent
Ability to lift food, supplies, and equipment up to 46 pounds
Ability to push and pull meal carts up to 250 pounds
Ability to walk and stand throughout the shift
Satisfactory criminal record check or Vulnerable Sector Search
Support patient-focused meal service at Alberta Health Services through food preparation, serving, sanitation, and dependable customer care.
