Reporting to the Wellness Program Supervisor, you will deliver cultural programming in Care Homes across community and Winnipeg. The position emphasizes community cultural development, First Nations perspectives, and relationships with leadership, organizations, children, Elders, youth, and families. Your work supports recreation, engagement, and holistic wellness.
Key Responsibilities: Plan culturally relevant recreation and wellness programs
Build partnerships with communities and service resources
Host activities responsive to community needs and strengths
Coordinate program budgets, food,



and activity supplies
Complete required documentation and reports
Requirements: Two to three years supporting children, youth, and families
Child development training or professional experience
Knowledge of Southeast First Nations communities
Ability to facilitate culturally relevant activities
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
Use cultural programming, partnership building, and wellness knowledge to support children, youth, families, and communities through Shawenim Abinoojii Inc.
