Advance primary curriculum transformation through professional learning and cooperative planning with elementary educators across the district. This flexible-days term assignment supports Grades K-3.

Reporting to the District Principal, Curriculum Transformation, the Curriculum Coordinator works within the district team. The position advances early learning framework and primary curriculum goals through communication, coaching, and collaboration. It engages teachers, administrators, support staff, parents, students, and the public.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and facilitate professional learning for Grades K-3
- Plan collaboratively with elementary and primary teachers
- Demonstrate lessons and co-teach with school-based educators




- Lead initiatives connected to the operational plan
- Contribute content to Engage and online resources

Requirements:

- Minimum five years recent successful K-3 classroom teaching experience
- Experience facilitating adult learning and professional development
- Experience coaching and mentoring educators
- Understanding of the BC Early Learning Framework
- Knowledge of competency-based design, inclusion, and assessment
