Provide personal care in person with the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority as a Health Care Aide serving Winnipeg clients. Support daily living and independence.
This Health Care Aide works with WRHA Community Health Services at Access St. Boniface. Under supervision, you will provide direct care, support changing needs, and help clients maintain optimum health within their abilities. The position is part of the SD St. Boniface Team.
Key Responsibilities: Assist clients with activities of daily living
Provide direct care within established standards
Support independence and changing client needs
Communicate with clients, families, and co-workers
Organize and prioritize assigned workload
Requirements: Minimum Grade 10 education under Manitoba standards
Recognized Health Care Aide course completion
Secure personal care respecting comfort, privacy, and dignity
Basic computer skills using Microsoft Word and Outlook
Ability to work shifts, weekends, and physically demanding duties
Use personal care, communication, and critical thinking skills while supporting independence through WRHA community health services.
