The Educational Assistant works with students experiencing physical, intellectual, behavioral, or other learning difficulties. As an integral school team member, you provide support that encourages independence and unique talent development. The position offers 33.83 hours weekly, with the schedule determined by the Principal.
Key Responsibilities: Provide academic support to students with exceptional needs
Deliver physical support within the school workplace
Offer emotional support to students with special needs
Encourage student independence and individual talent development




Work as an integral member of the school team
Requirements: Relevant training, including Behaviour Management Systems Training
Experience supporting students with special needs
Experience with severe behavioral or emotional difficulties
College diploma, university degree, or apprenticeship certificate
Two to three years supporting students with special needs
Apply your interpersonal skills and specialized student support experience as an Educational Assistant serving exceptional needs within school.
