Support laboratory animal care in Montreal with husbandry, cage sanitation, and equipment monitoring at the RI-MUHC. French and English communication are required.
Under the Animal Resources Division Manager, you will perform animal care, technical, and administrative duties across RI-MUHC sites. Work includes maintaining animals, recording data, and interacting with researchers. Previous animal experience is an asset.
Key Responsibilities: Perform husbandry duties for laboratory animal care
Clean, wash, and disinfect animal cages
Record and report animal care data
Operate and monitor equipment, tools, and instruments
Interact with researchers and manage animal supplies
Requirements: Knowledge of French is required
Basic oral and written English knowledge is required
Solid organization and prioritization skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Previous animal experience is an asset
