Drive float trucks across Ontario with Bot Construction Group, transporting heavy equipment and materials from the Main Equipment Shop in Oakville.
As a full time Float Driver, you will support highway and heavy civil construction operations throughout the province. The work includes tractor-trailer operation, oversized loads, cargo securement, vehicle inspections, and transportation documentation. You will coordinate with dispatchers, equipment personnel, and jobsites to deliver safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities: Transport equipment and materials between active construction sites
Operate float trucks and tractor-trailers safely
Secure, balance, immobilize, load, and unload cargo
Complete inspections, logbooks, delivery receipts, and records




Report mechanical issues and perform minor roadside repairs
Requirements: Valid Ontario Class AZ licence and clean driving record
Experience operating float trucks or heavy commercial vehicles
Proficiency with GPS navigation systems
Ability to assess clearances, weights, dimensions, and requirements
Willingness to travel province-wide, including remote and northern regions
Bring safe heavy-haul driving, cargo securement, and compliance skills to Bot Construction Group’s Ontario construction operations.
