Provide resident care at AgeCare as a Personal Support Worker, using care plans, bedside techniques, and infection prevention practices.
The Personal Support Worker provides care according to resident care plans and helps identify resident needs. This position supports secure, secure environments while documenting care information and reporting observations. The role also includes education sessions, meetings, workshops, and staff onboarding as directed.
Key Responsibilities: Monitor care according to established resident care plans
Observe residents and report findings to supervisors
Document resident care information as directed
Attend education sessions, meetings, and workshops
Follow infection prevention and control policies
Requirements: Personal Support Worker certificate or diploma graduate
Meet Ministry of Training vocational standards
Meet National Association of Career Colleges standards
Meet Ontario Community Support Association standards
Know bedside care, sanitation, cleaning, and geriatric needs
Bring resident care, documentation, bedside support, and infection prevention knowledge to AgeCare's supportive communities across Ontario.
