As a Service Worker I, you will support patient care areas within the hospital site. Responsibilities include patient and equipment transportation, supply distribution, linen handling, and equipment cleaning. You may also transport specimens, blood products, and charts while reporting safety or supply concerns.
Key Responsibilities: Transport patients between departments safely and courteously
Move supplies, equipment, linen, and patient charts
Distribute and replenish supplies throughout hospital units
Collect soiled equipment and dispose of it appropriately
Clean equipment and patient care areas as directed
Requirements: Grade 12 or equivalent
Previous Emergency or Acute Care facility experience
Current Basic Life Support certification required
English oral and written comprehension
Ability to push, pull, bend, lift, and stand
Support AHS emergency services through dependable patient transportation, equipment handling, supply distribution, and clear communication.
