Bring oil and gas electrical and instrumentation design experience to Bluestar Engineering Ltd.’s Calgary-based EPCM project team.
This Intermediate Electrical Designer/Drafter leads design activities across small to medium-sized oil and gas projects. You will develop drawing packages, coordinate with other disciplines, and manage deliverables across multiple projects. The work also supports renewables projects through Bluestar Engineering Ltd.’s integrated organization.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate electrical designs with other project disciplines
Complete drawing packages within scope, schedule, and budget
Prioritize deliverables across multiple simultaneous projects
Revise designs as project requirements change
Apply changes consistently across the complete design
Requirements: Six or more years in electrical and instrumentation design
Oil and gas experience is required
Electrical Engineering Technology diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of CEC, NFPA, and API codes
Solid English reading and writing skills
Use oil and gas design knowledge, coordination skills, and code familiarity to deliver dependable electrical project documentation.
