Apply industrial automation knowledge as a full time Co-op at Rockwell Automation, working with electrical wiring, P&ID; drawings, and device connectivity. The placement runs January through August 2027.
This Co-op supports large and medium-scale customer projects from design to startup. You will correct technical drawings, test network configurations, validate HMI screens, and check electrical device connectivity. The assignment also develops familiarity with project delivery software, management procedures, and industrial automation concepts.
Key Responsibilities: Correct electrical and P&ID; drawings for customer projects
Test network configurations against project delivery requirements
Validate HMI screens and electrical device connectivity
Support technology delivery operations through project startup
Develop customer training materials for completed project requirements
Requirements: Active enrollment in a four-year or advanced accredited degree program
Industrial automation experience preferred
Electrical wiring or P&ID; drawing experience preferred
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale preferred
Innovative approach to solving challenges preferred
Develop engineering-focused project experience through Rockwell Automation’s industrial automation delivery, testing, drawings, and startup activities.
