Fraser Health seeks a casual Clinical Social Worker with counselling and care-planning expertise for Timber Creek mental health services.
This MSW position delivers clinical social work services within an integrated interdisciplinary team. You will assess clients and families experiencing acute episodes of responsible and persistent mental illness, develop care plans, and support continuity after hospitalization. The position also involves consultation, referrals, advocacy, and community coordination.
Key Responsibilities: Interview clients and families to determine care plans
Articulate assessments and decisions to interdisciplinary team members
Arrange community services and facility placement meetings
Collaborate with agencies and family physicians on referrals




Accompany clients to required residential pre-placement visits
Requirements: Master's Degree in Social Work, or demonstrated MSW equivalency
Two years' recent related experience in mental health treatment
Full registration with British Columbia College of Social Workers
Valid Class 5 BC driver's license with personal vehicle access
Ability to prioritize work in a complex environment
Use assessment, counselling, referral, and discharge-planning skills to coordinate mental health care through Fraser Health.
