YORK CATHOLIC DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD seeks a permanent CUPE 2331 Lunchtime Supervisor for 10 months. Working under the School Principal’s direction, you will monitor students, encourage appropriate play, and help maintain a secure, caring, positive environment. The schedule is five hours weekly, with an immediate start date.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise students indoors and outdoors during lunch breaks
Monitor behavior and encourage respect, kindness, and inclusivity
Report misconduct and atypical situations to school leadership




Support appropriate play and monitor out-of-bounds areas
Assist with emergency situations including fire drills
Requirements: Less than high school graduation plus additional training or education
Minimum one month of required experience
Good communication skills and a positive demeanor
Ability to monitor multiple activities and respect confidentiality
Experience working with children and attending physical needs
Bring communication, child supervision, and positive behavior support skills to the Pope Francis lunchtime team in Kleinburg.
