Marcon Metalfab is hiring a CWB Certified Welder for its Delta facility. The schedule runs from 3:15 PM to 1:45 AM, with 10-hour shifts. The work involves steel manufacturing, welding equipment selection, component setup, and welded-surface inspection. TIG, aluminum, and stainless experience are assets.
Key Responsibilities: Set up welding components according to project specifications
Select equipment and methods based on project requirements
Inspect welded surfaces and structures for flaws
Prepare parts using angle grinders before welding
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements for layout
Requirements: CWB Certified Welder qualification
Three or more years in steel manufacturing
Welding proficiency in all positions
TIG, aluminum, or stainless experience is an asset
Transparent communication skills in English
