This Accounting Technician position requires one to less than two years of experience and secondary school graduation. The work focuses on accounting, financial records, payroll, tax returns, and reporting. You will use computerized bookkeeping systems, Caseware/Caseview, Xero, and Sage Accounting Software.
Key Responsibilities: Calculate and prepare payroll cheques
Maintain and balance financial accounts
Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
Prepare tax returns and accounting reports
Reconcile accounts and post journal entries
Requirements: Secondary school graduation certificate
One to less than two years of experience
Knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and Office
Basic security clearance and criminal record check
Valid driver's licence and bondable status
