Practice comprehensive nursing care in Swan River with Prairie Mountain Health, using clinical judgment and current Basic Cardiac Life Support training. This 0.60 FTE position includes days and nights.
As a Licensed Practical Nurse in the Rehab department, you will care for patients, residents, and clients at Swan Valley Health Centre sites. Practice within the Licensed Practical Nurses Act, CLPNM standards, approved scope, professional ethics, and established procedures. Apply acute care experience, communication, and information technology skills.
Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, residents, and clients
Practice within legislated and qualified scope requirements
Follow CLPNM standards, code, and entry-level competencies
Obtain and maintain relevant Prairie Mountain Health competencies
Complete other duties as assigned
Requirements: Active or eligible CLPNM practicing licensure
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support training
One year acute care LPN experience within three years
Proficiency with Microsoft programs, Internet applications, and information technology
Organizational, problem-solving, communication, and independent-working skills
