As Active Living Manager, you will develop and implement engaging programs across independent living, assisted living, and memory care residences. You will promote wellness, social interaction, and happiness while delivering customer service. The role combines program development, event scheduling, resident engagement, and team leadership. You will also evaluate offerings and support a volunteer program aligned with residence needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess residents’ needs to guide active living programs
- Develop and implement engaging, meaningful recreation programs
- Create monthly calendars and newsletters
- Schedule events and live entertainment
- Evaluate programs and grow volunteer support
Requirements:
- Two years’ recreation or active living experience
- One year’s leadership experience with mature adults and seniors
- Two-year post-secondary education in a related field
- Current CPR and first aid certification
- Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain one
