This Personal Support Worker position provides resident care according to established care plans. You will observe residents, report findings, document care information, and follow Infection Prevention and Control policies. The role also includes simple treatments, bedside care, sanitation, and support for geriatric residents.
Key Responsibilities: Monitor care according to established resident care plans
Observe residents and report findings to supervisors
Document information about resident care as directed
Attend education sessions, meetings, and workshops
Assist with onboarding new staff as directed
Requirements: Graduate of a Personal Support Worker certificate or diploma program
Meet Ministry of Training vocational standards
Meet National Association of Career Colleges standards
Understand simple treatments and related bedside care
Know sanitation, cleaning, and geriatric resident needs
Bring resident care, documentation, bedside support, and IPAC knowledge to Personal Support Worker work at AgeCare Aurora.
