Produce diagnostic MRI images at Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge as a regular part time technologist supporting Southwest Zone patients.
As a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist I, you will create images for Radiologist or Cardiologist interpretation. The position involves patient preparation, positioning, history review, procedure explanation, and MRI equipment maintenance. You will also respond to patients’ physical and psychological needs during scanning.
Key Responsibilities: Produce high quality diagnostic MRI images as ordered
Record magnetic resonance images for specialist interpretation
Prepare and position patients for examinations
Review patient history and explain scanning procedures




Maintain MRI equipment throughout diagnostic imaging activities
Requirements: Accredited MRI program diploma or qualifying related diploma combination
Active or eligible Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists registration
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Healthcare Provider certification
IV/CVAD Authorization
Regular part time availability at 0.50 FTE
Support patient centred diagnostic imaging through MRI production, careful positioning, transparent explanations, and equipment maintenance in Lethbridge.
