Support patients, families, and staff as a Spiritual Health Practitioner in Vancouver, using spiritual assessment, counselling, and crisis intervention.

Reporting to the Director of Spiritual Health and Pastoral Care, you will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across assigned clinical units. You will provide comprehensive spiritual and emotional support aligned with belief systems and cultural diversity. The work includes end-of-life conversations, community collaboration, and staff crisis support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess spiritual needs and provide counselling and supportive presence
- Participate in care meetings, rounds, and case conferences
- Document assessments and interventions in Cerner medical records
- Support staff during crises, deaths, and critical incidents




- Mentor volunteers and support Clinical Psychospiritual Education students

Requirements:

- Master’s degree in relevant theological or spiritual studies
- Clinical Psychospiritual Education with two advanced units
- Preferably certified with CASC/ACSS
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to work flexible schedule and interdisciplinary teams
