Support patient care as a Registered Dental Assistant at Market Mall Dental Care, using dental imaging and infection control skills. Work Tuesday through Thursday, plus one Saturday monthly.
This Registered Dental Assistant supports dentists and hygienists at a family-oriented practice serving North West Calgary for over 30 years. The work includes treatment preparation, dental X-rays, instrument sterilization, and patient education. You will also update charts, support scheduling, and collaborate with the dental team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures
- Assist dentists and hygienists while maintaining patient comfort
- Take dental X-rays and digital images as required
- Sterilize instruments and follow IPAC infection control standards
- Update charts and provide oral hygiene education
Requirements:
- Register or hold certification with the provincial regulatory body
- Previous dental assisting experience is preferred
- Follow privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines
- Maintain ethical qualified behaviour with patients
- Legal authorization to work in Canada
