Strengthen airport security risk management at Toronto Pearson through SeMS oversight, incident analysis, and mitigation monitoring for the GTAA.
This Security Management Systems Officer supports the Manager, Quality and Performance Management within the Greater Toronto Airports Authority. The position oversees the SeMS framework, tracks threats and trends, and supports business units through concern reviews. It also contributes to audits, exercises, assessments, and continuous reporting improvement.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee and administer the GTAA SeMS framework
Track threats, risks, trends, and mitigation effectiveness
Support business units through SeMS concern reviews
Monitor government publications and security information




Support security audits, exercises, and risk assessments
Requirements: Knowledge of aerodrome procedures and security requirements
Knowledge of Aeronautics Act, CASRs, ASM, and ICAO Annex 17
Knowledge of GTAA security standards and industry best practices
Skill using data software for logs, spreadsheets, and charts
Ability to obtain and retain Transport Security Clearance
Bring airport security knowledge, risk management capability, and analytical judgment to the GTAA’s SeMS framework.
