This full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant/Physiotherapy Assistant position supports clients with walking, transfers, stairs, positioning, and prescribed exercises. You will assist gross motor, fine motor, and balance activities while addressing physical, functional, and self-care needs. The position also includes safety assessments, documentation, incident reporting, and collaboration with Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists.
Key Responsibilities: Assist gross motor, fine motor, and balance activities
Support protected mobility using proper body mechanics
Educate clients and families on assigned care needs




Evaluate environmental and personal safety risks when required
Report incidents, accidents, and critical events appropriately
Requirements: Ability to support prescribed exercise and mobility programs
Ability to monitor and report client health changes
Knowledge of applicable professional practice standards
Commitment to workplace health and safety policies
Ability to follow Ontario law and VHA policies
