Support adolescent recovery through assessment and counselling at Alberta Hospital Edmonton’s intensive, bed-based program. Work within a multidisciplinary team serving youth aged 12 to 18.
As an Addictions Counsellor III, you will provide client-focused, recovery-based and culturally appropriate services. Your work includes individual and group counselling, treatment planning, case management, crisis intervention, education and referrals. You will support youth and families throughout recovery.
Key Responsibilities: Assess youth and develop individualized treatment plans
Provide individual, group and family counselling
Facilitate groups and develop program services
Monitor recovery goals and adapt treatment accordingly




Coordinate referrals and community stabilization services
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in addictions or related education
Minimum two years counselling adolescent clients
Experience in a bed-based treatment setting
Suicide Prevention, First Aid/CPR and crisis intervention certification
Valid non-GDL Class 5 driver’s licence
Apply adolescent counselling, treatment planning and case management expertise within Edmonton Youth Recovery Program’s interdisciplinary service.
