Support housing technology at York University through systems analysis, application support, and data-informed process improvement. Collaborate with partners and UIT teams across campus.
Reporting to the Director, Housing & Conference Services, the Housing Systems Specialist coordinates technology solutions and business process improvements. The role researches, evaluates, recommends, deploys, configures, and enhances systems used by Ancillary Services. It also supports confidential information handling and policy requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Research and evaluate systems for problem resolution and optimization
Coordinate technology solutions and business process improvements
Configure, modify, upgrade, and modernize applications and platforms




Provide second and third level vendor application support
Prepare system documents, procedures, specifications, and records
Requirements: University degree in Computer Science or related field
Four years related experience supporting diverse systems
Experience designing and implementing software or hardware solutions
Experience troubleshooting web-based applications
Database, systems architecture, and data retrieval knowledge
Apply systems analysis, application support, and data retrieval expertise to improve York University housing services.
