As an Advanced Care Paramedic, you will respond to emergency scenes and transport patients between facilities. Your clinical duties include medication administration, advanced airway support, electrical therapy, and ALS team leadership. You will also operate ambulances or other transport modes.
Key Responsibilities: Provide clinical care during emergency responses and transports
Use advanced life support airway adjuncts
Administer medications to patients
Operate ambulances and other transportation modes
Lead ALS teams during clinical care
Requirements: Advanced Care Paramedic registration with Alberta College of Paramedics
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support CPR certification
Valid Class 4 Alberta Operator's Licence or equivalent
Satisfactory vulnerable sector criminal record check
Functional Abilities Recruitment Evaluation certificate when required
Bring ACP registration, ALS airway expertise, and emergency transport capability to Emergency Health Services' Calgary Division EMS.
