This relief position supports women, children, and families residing in transitional housing. The work combines resident-centred support, advocacy, family assistance, and service coordination. Availability includes one guaranteed shift weekly plus day and overnight shifts as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents in securing and maintaining housing
• Connect residents with legal, health, employment, and community resources
• Advocate while navigating service systems
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, groups, and activities

Requirements:

• Related human or social service education
• One year’s recent related experience or equivalent preparation
• Robust critical thinking and social perception
• Ability to negotiate, compromise, and collaborate
• Reliable vehicle and First Aid/CPR certificate are assets
