Develop Inuktitut curricula and teaching resources as an Education Consultant supporting kindergarten-to-secondary-5 programs across Nunavik. Frequent travel is required.
Reporting to the Assistant Director, you will support curriculum coordination, evaluation, research, and development. The work covers Inuktitut programs from kindergarten through secondary 5. You will collaborate with external consultants and support fellow education consultants. Teaching technology expertise and language skills are central to the position.
Key Responsibilities: Develop Inuktitut curricula with external consultants
Create and update teaching and learning materials
Prepare assessment materials and teacher resources
Train teachers on required technological tools
Travel frequently throughout Nunavik
Requirements: Relevant first-level university degree
Three to five years of relevant experience
Fluency in Inuktitut
Working knowledge of French or English
Command of teaching technology tools
Apply curriculum development, teacher support, and Inuktitut expertise to strengthen Kativik Ilisarniliriniq learning resources throughout Nunavik.
