Arcadis seeks a Senior Structural Construction Engineer with extensive design expertise for full time, site-based support on complex infrastructure works.

This senior position requires at least 15 years of progressive structural engineering experience. You will apply structural behaviour, design assumptions, Canadian codes, and construction-phase judgment. The work supports permanent works, temporary conditions, and construction interfaces across heavy-civil, transportation, marine, bridge, tunnel, and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct field reviews against drawings, specifications, codes, and requirements
- Review RFIs, shop drawings, method statements, and contractor calculations
- Assess deviations, non-conformances, repairs, sequencing, and temporary conditions




- Complete focused calculations and design checks for practical resolutions
- Prepare reports, memoranda, sketches, marked-up drawings, and recommendations

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering
- Professional Engineer registration in British Columbia or eligibility
- At least 15 years of progressive structural engineering experience
- Expertise in reinforced concrete, structural steel, connections, and sequencing
- Knowledge of Canadian codes, including CSA A23.3 and CSA S16
