BWXT Canada is hiring a Project Engineering Planner Scheduler for its onsite location in Cambridge, Ontario. The role develops and maintains project and engineering schedules supporting manufacturing operations, customer commitments, and project delivery.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using P6 or similar scheduling tools.
- Coordinate schedules, priorities, engineering deliverables, and milestones with project, manufacturing, weld engineering, source assurance, vendor, and customer stakeholders.
- Track progress, critical-path activities, schedule risks, delays, and impacts; develop recovery plans to support on-time delivery.
- Prepare project reports, lookahead plans, and schedule updates.
- Plan resources and track engineering activities, budgeted hours, documentation, non-conformances, requisitions, and material readiness.
- Participate in planning and scheduling reviews,



resolve workflow bottlenecks, and incorporate approved scope changes into schedules.

Qualifications

- College or university education in engineering, materials, operations management, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in a planner scheduler or similar project scheduling role.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; SAP experience is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to work accurately with complex project data and cross-functional teams.

Compensation and advantages
