This Registered Nurse serves Acute Psychiatry 9 Tower and T10 Tower at the Charlton Campus. You will care for patients with complex mental illnesses across the care continuum. The practice emphasizes person-centered nursing, recovery, trauma-informed care, and collaboration with an inter-professional team.
Key Responsibilities: Complete assessments and organize therapeutic interventions
Provide safe, evidence-based specialized nursing care
Document and evaluate patient interventions
Collaborate and delegate within the inter-qualified team
Support patient stabilization and community reintegration
Requirements: Current College of Nurses of Ontario registration
Current BCLS/HCP certification
At least one year of recent mental health nursing experience
Knowledge of Mental Health Act and related legislation
CPI Crisis Prevention Training or completion during orientation
Apply mental health nursing, crisis intervention, and therapeutic care expertise across Acute Psychiatry T09 and T10.
