Upper Canada Child Care is recruiting a casual supply Assistant Educator for a current vacancy. You will help deliver developmentally appropriate programs while meeting Ministry of Education and organizational guidelines. The work includes care routines, family communication, documentation, and collaboration with school personnel and team members.
Key Responsibilities: Engage children through positive play-based learning experiences
Assist with meals, toileting, diapering, and dressing
Communicate with parents about programs and children
Complete charts, logs, reports,



and administrative tasks
Use Storypark for pedagogical documentation and program development
Requirements: Recent Vulnerable Sector Check
Health assessment and legislatively required immunization record
Current CPR-C and Standard First Aid certification
Knowledge of children’s developmental needs and inquiry-based programming
Availability for at least five assigned shifts monthly
Bring child development knowledge, calm communication, and play-based programming skills to Upper Canada Child Care in Woodbridge.
