Assisted Living Alberta is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for the Type B and Type B Secure programs. Working within an interprofessional health care team, you will use problem solving and demonstrated skills to support safe, high quality care. Your practice will align with applicable legislation, standards, policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities: Provide safe, high quality patient and family centred care
Use nursing processes in daily clinical practice
Apply critical thinking and problem solving skills
Make decisions within demonstrated skill level




Follow applicable legislation, standards, policies, and procedures
Requirements: Complete an accredited practical nurse education program
Hold active or eligible Alberta LPN registration
Maintain a practice permit with the CLHA
Hold current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
Complete satisfactory criminal record screening before starting
Support residents and families through skilled nursing processes, critical thinking, and secure care at Pleasant View Lodge Residential Care.
