Support metal manufacturing in Langley, British Columbia, using hand tools, work orders, and material-handling equipment. This full time opportunity reports to the Machine Shop Foreman.
At Weldco-Beales Manufacturing, the General Labourer supports manufacturing processes through manual duties and directions. You will sort parts, move materials, grind edges, interpret work orders, and operate equipment. WBM produces heavy equipment attachments for construction, forestry, mining, scrap recycling, and resource industries.
Key Responsibilities: Sort metal sheets, parts, scrap metal, and other materials
Load, unload, and move parts using hand trucks or dollies
Grind and deburr sharp metal edges with hand tools
Read and follow work orders and coworker directions
Transport materials using hoists, forklifts, and cranes
Requirements: Completion of Grade 10
General knowledge of basic tools and equipment
Forklift operation ability considered an asset
Collaborative interpersonal skills for cooperative work
Time management, organization, problem-solving, and safety skills
Bring practical material handling, tool use, and safety awareness to Weldco-Beales Manufacturing’s Langley machine shop.
