Maintain a school facility with The Upper Canada District School Board using cleaning, general maintenance, and small equipment skills. This position operates a specific worksite.
The Custodian works under the Facilities Operations Manager and direction of the Head or Lead Custodian. The role supports building appearance and operation within a larger custodial team across multiple worksites. The Principal may provide school-based direction alongside the Facilities Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain the appearance of an assigned school building
Operate a specific worksite as directed
Complete cleaning and general maintenance activities
Work with custodial staff across multiple worksites
Requirements: Secondary school diploma and six months relevant experience
Cleaning and general maintenance experience in a school facility
Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
Small equipment repair and maintenance experience is an asset
Building Environmental Systems courses are an asset
